Kurt’s Blog: I Love It When Internet Commenters Embarass Themselves

If It Were All True

If all the tabloids were correct when they assumed Jennifer Aniston was pregnant…Jennifer Aniston would have 25 kids. Instead, they’ve been wrong everytime.

She Just Has to Copy Her Brother

Seriously, if her brother does it…she has to do it.

I Love It When This Happens

I love it when Internet commenters try to be funny…try to “get ya”…but it backfires.

I saw this on KCCI.com…it was an article about the new bar opening in the East Village…featuring “arcade games & craft beer”.

A very self-righteous commenter immediately commented “Craft beer…Typo.LOL”.

Oooh…you nailed ‘em on that one!

Oh, wait, no you didn’t. No, they didn’t mean “draft beer”…they did, in fact, mean “craft beer”.

Congrats on embarassing yourself.

Americana

Jennifer & I enjoyed a nice date night on Saturday night at Americana…far & away our favorite place to eat, it never disappoints.

Jennifer & I had a major shock to our system though…there were a ton of Valley kids there pre-Homecoming dance…and I don’t think I’m ready for my daughter to be wearing those dresses.

Also, I learned “Nomade” is the #1 place to take pre-dance photos apparently.

Buffalo Sweat

After enjoying Americana, we met up with some friends over at Court Ave. Brewery…and enjoyed some fantastic ales. I didn’t see it on their board until I was finishing my last drink, but my friend Sully got their “Buffalo Sweat”…which is a dream…Buffalo Sauce & Beer together. I liked it a lot…my wife? Not so much, but she doesn’t like the darker beers.

Hee Hee

I posted this last week…but it’s Chicago Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane showing off some incredible stick-handling skills…

In response, Kane’s teammate, Brandon Bollig…who by all accounts…lacks the speed…the skill…and well…just take a look.

Pass On This Movie
World War Z…it’s garbage.

I rented this with much enthusiasm, and was greatly disappointed. I was so bored…and the ending was just a “really?” Really? That’s how we survive (or not) zombies? Brad Pitt looked tired in this movie…I’m sure fighting zombies does that to someone…although it seemed like there was severe lack of actually fighting zombies.

AWESOME is as AWESOME does!

REVIEW: ‘It Follows’ is the best American horror film in a decade

In this image released by Brigade Marketing, actress Maika Monroe appears in a scene of It Follows, directed by David Robert Mitchell. “It Follows,” has been arguably the buzziest American film at Cannes next to Bennett Miller’s wrestling drama “Foxcatcher,” which boasts a far more famous cast and a major premiere at the Palais des Festival.

"It Follows" is a horror movie worthy of classic comparisons.
