Kurt’s Blog: I’m Totally Losing My Mancard
Kurt’s Blog: I’m Totally Losing My Mancard

My friends always joke that I lose my mancard.

Easy reasons: Slow songs get to me…(I mean “Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” got to me for years)…I’ll take a fruity/blended drink over whiskey any day…I’ll watch The Bachelor/Bachelorette)…

Lately, though, it’s been even more severe…Frozen World Premiere at El Capitan Theater

These are the last three things I’ve purchased on Itunes…

1 – the latest album from Avril Lavigne

2 – the latest album from Britney Spears

3 – the soundtrack to “Frozen”

And now…I’m following Ali Fedotowsky on Twitter (so I can get Bachelor updates?) This is ridiculous.

Yes…I only got to see 38 minutes of it…but I’m “Frozen” obsessed.

Ridiculous.

Let it Go…Let it Go…no, you won’t catch me blaring that in my minivan. You have me mistaken for somebody else.

(I posted a pic of Kristen Bell at the Frozen premiere as a way of trying to redeem myself)

I go and do that, and then immediately post…

Yep, Britney Spears’ new video for her latest song “Perfume”

Mancard…revoked again!

FILE- This is a 1967 handout image from Parlophone of The British group, The Beatles,. From left, are: Ringo Starr, John Lennon, Paul McCartney; and George Harrison. The woman who as a child was the basis for the Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" is gravely ill. It was thought by many at the time that the psychedelic song from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band was a paean to LSD because of the initials in the title, but it was actually based on a drawing that John Lennon's young son Julian brought home from school. He told his father the drawing was of Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Lucy Vodden, now living in Surrey just outside of London _ drifted apart after schoolyard days, but they have gotten back in touch as Lennon has tried to help Vodden cope with Lupus, a life-threatening disease.
