If I were ever talented enough to be in a band…I’d like to think that I would have made a fine member of OAR. I mean, they’re huge Pearl Jam fans…I’m a huge Pearl Jam fan…we instantly would have teamed up to make a fantastic band, right?

Yesterday morning…at 8am…(the band even chose the time)…they gave us an intimate performance at the Science Center. Incredibly nice guys who make incredible music.

By the way…what made my day last night (besides obvious family stuff?)? The fact OAR liked the above photo that I posted on Instagram. Not to geek out about it, but it’s a good feeling knowing that a band you like “liked” your pic.

This was my son nearly 3 years ago getting his OAR shirt autographed at his first ever concert.

By the way, The Rock’s Instagram account is the sweatiest thing you’ll ever see. Do you know what you won’t see on his account? Him eating a cupcake…every photo is him looking ripped and lifting giant weights.

Want to know what I’m excited about this morning? The Lego Movie is out on DVD today. Woot woot! My kids are really excited…and so am I. My wife took our son to see it in the theaters, so I missed out on that. Lego Movie…you will become my new Frozen.
