Kurt’s Blog: Super Bruno & Super Bacon!

The big game is of course on Sunday…and my prediction is:
Broncos 38, Seahawks 17.

No, I don’t think it’ll be close. I think it’ll be tight until about halftime, and then the Broncos will run away with it. If Seattle doesn’t get to Manning, then it’s going to be easy going for Manning.

Fun drinking game….take a drink every time Peyton yells “OMAHA!”

More importantly…I’m irritated that the Super Bowl commercials are already leaked online. It used to be somewhat exciting to not know what’s coming…but now, everything is pretty much spoiled.

Speaking of which…I’m not a fan of the Clydesdale Budweiser commercials at all…and that streak will continue this year.

Now, on to the bright things…even though the popular thing to do will be to rag on the Halftime Show…I think people are going to be blown away by Bruno Mars. He’s AWESOME…every time he’s on an awards show, he always nails it. Plus, the Red Hot Chili Peppers? AWESOME (although, both times I’ve seen the RHCP in concert, I’ve been very disappointed).

A Celebration of Football on Sunday…but a Celebration of Bacon on Saturday

I’ve been hanging on to these since last Baconfest…

tickets

Tomorrow…they will be redeemed! I can’t find things from a week ago…but yes, I’ve been hangin’ onto these bad boys for 300+ days.

By the way, I’m super-stoked for our buddy Branden Oliver…he’s going to be performing his “Viva Las Bacon” twice tomorrow at Baconfest. I’m really happy for him, and I think it’s going to be something you definitely won’t want to miss!

Mmmm….bacon. Man I’m hungry.

AWESOME is as AWESOME does!
