Kurt’s Blog: That Only Gets a One Game Suspension?
Kurt’s Blog: That Only Gets a One Game Suspension?

Okay, wait a second…hold up…

A Little League coach tries to choke out another coach….in front of kids…and he only gets a 1-game suspension?

That’s ridiculous.

In the West Des Moines basketball league I was in, our center, Matt, got suspended one game as well…for dunking. Just one dunk landed him a one game suspension. Little did Matt know that apparently he could have dunked…then choked out one of the opposing players.

(Yes, I know, the Grand View Little League & the West Des Moines basketball league are different and probably have different rules, but still…you get the point).

What about the other parents of the coach that was the aggressor? Do you really want him to still be coaching your kids? Ridiculous.

It’s like the guys on softball teams that are way too competitive…I was throwing the ball home from 3rd base…and the ball hit the guy in the back. I didn’t mean to…I just didn’t have a good angle, and it hit him. He immediately stops running, turns around, and just starts walking back at me challenging me to a fight. Dude, it was an accident, relax….by the way, you’re out of the baseline.

Okay, got off on a tangent on that one….bottom line, that coach should be done for the year….at least the year, maybe more.

The Worst Rappers Ever

GQ came out with a list of the 25 Worst Rappers of All-Time…and the Insane Clown Posse topped the list. I can not completely disagree with this…although there was a time that I liked the ICP (Not to the point of ever wanting to see them in concert, and certainly not wanting to ever, ever, ever paint my face).

They’re Top 5 Worst Rappers were this:

1. Insane Clown Posse

2. Spencer Pratt (Darn it, I almost had been able to forget him)

3. Chet Haze (who apparently is one of the sons of Tom Hanks?)

4. Vanilla Ice

5. K-Fed

Okay…take Vanilla Ice off this list. Yes, he was a one-hit wonder, that’s fine, but he was a fine rapper. Ugh, am I defending Vanilla Ice? They had MC Hammer at #7 on their list…that wasn’t fair either. Hammer had skillz….oh yes he did.

They had Pitbull on the list…but not Ja Rule? Ja Rule was awful….all he did was grunt and then every now and then would say “murder”.

P. Diddy was on their list…but at like #8…he should be in the Top 5. He makes fine music…for other people…but his rapping style is so boring. There’s no inflection in anything he raps. It’s just…I’m talking…it’s rhyming…sweet.

Ja Rule….again, I thought I forgot ye.

My worst rapper of all-time:?
It’s Madonna. She only rapped once…it was in that horrible song “American Life”…and that rap was absolutely terrrrible.

Here…behold it…if you can.

Oh, do you know who else needs to be on the list? Soulja Boy….maybe at #2…just because he did this on the Bachelorette.

Right reasons.

Ugh…right reasons.

By the way, as my wife was catching up on easily-one-of-the-worst Bachelorette seasons ever yesterday, we finally saw the whole “James” controversy. How did they go an entire episode without saying “I have the feeling James isn’t here for the right reasons”.

By the way Bachelorette fans…James got totally railroaded on that one. I believe James…and Desiree made a mistake by getting rid of him.

Wow…

Watching both those videos killed all creative spirit.

New Comedy Central Roast

The Roasts that Comedy Central have put on over the years have been absolutely hilarious…and I eagerly look forward to September 2nd…the Roast of James Franco.

AWESOME is as AWESOME does!
