Let me introduce you to Professor Von Air…all he does is make kids smile. You may have seen the Professor (Oscar Rosales) at any number of Farmer’s Markets, or any fun kid outing.

This past Saturday morning, my wife had to work, so it was the kids and I who headed down to the Downtown Farmer’s Market. The kids were incredibly well-behaved…and Dexter told me that they were “good listeners”…and that’s when the both saw the booth for Professor Von Air.

Balloon animals…balloon creations….incredible balloon creations.

We got in the ever-growing line…but I’m glad we waited. It was well worth it. The little girl in front of me asked the Professor for a princess balloon….to which Oscar replied back, “well, who’s your favorite princess”….this little girl responded with “Elsa” (from Frozen).

Within minutes….Professor Von Air had crafted an incredible Elsa Balloon Princess. I was blown away…I wanted one, ha ha. Dexter and Priscilla were so excited…and asked for a Batman…and a Hello Kitty.

You can’t see it in the photo, but the Hello Kitty is even holding a heart-shaped balloon.

While the Professor was crafting these incredible balloons…he carried on a very fun & lively conversation with me. It was all second nature to him…but he still took the time and care with each one. His interactions with the kids was fantastic….and the kids and I…and everyone else in line that morning…left with big smiles.

My kids treasured this creations.

Catch him at the Downtown Farmer’s Market on June 14th….and the Professor will also be at the Valley Junction Farmer’s Market on Thursday nights (including this Thursday night)

You can check out his website here!

Professor Von Air is one of those Central Iowans that just gets it….he’s in the business of putting smiles on kids’ faces…and business is good…because there were nothing but smiles all morning long surrounding his booth.

AWESOME is as AWESOME does!
