She’s fierce, fantastic and she’s a FIRST for Central Iowa. Hot off the presses – STAR 102.5 welcomes STAR Artist P!nk to Des Moines!
The three-time Grammy winner will bring her tour THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE to Wells Fargo Arena on Friday, November 8. Tickets go on sale through Dahl’s Tickets Saturday, March 30 at 10 a.m.
Although I haven’t seen a P!nk performance in person, STAR 102.5’s Promotions Director Michael saw her in Omaha a couple of years ago. He says he was “blown away” by how rockin’ both P!nk and her band were – great show with tight, sharp sound and lots of energy.
She’ll be here celebrating her seventh album, The Truth About Love, which was released last September by RCA Records. On STAR 102.5’s airwaves, you’ve probably heard “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)”, as well as her second hit single from the album – “Try” – which is her thirteenth Hot 100 Top 10 hit.
Central Iowans, I know you’ve been ready to embrace an artist that’s never played in Des Moines before, and this concert will deliver in a big way. You’ll continue hearing plenty o’ P!nk on STAR over the coming months as we gear up for this awesome show.
