Huge fans of Taylor Swift may have seen the announcement on her website just before Christmas. In case you missed it, six-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift will bring her RED Tour to Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines on Thursday, August 1st. Tickets go on sale through dahlstickets.com next Friday, February 1st at 10 a.m. Ed Sheeran is scheduled to open.
If you’ve never seen Taylor in concert, it’s definitely a show for the whole family. It was the first concert for my oldest daughter Hailey, and will likely be the first concert for my younger daughter Riley – who will turn five around show time. Her shows are fun…plain and simple. No awkward political moments. No foul language. Just fun. During the last show, Taylor’s Mom – Andrea – was backstage and took us a guided tour of everything surrounding the show. She was super sweet and it was the moment of a lifetime for my daughter.
This show will sell fast. So, if you’re even thinking about going, I’d recommend getting your tickets sooner than later. Many of you will likely buy your tickets online, but if you plan on buying them in person at Wells Faro Arena, here’s a special note from the arena about what to expect:
