If you’re a fan of new music, getting the chance to see an up and coming artist before they “make it big” is a pretty cool deal.

Last week I took a road trip to Chicago to watch Emeli Sandé play to a sold out crowd at Lincoln Hall. She’s a gift, and impressed everyone in the room. As I sat in the theater, I really got a feeling I was watching a star be born. Although a big deal overseas, she’s embarking on a series of dates in the US – including an appearance on the Today Show yesterday morning.
