I’ve have so many emails, tweets and Facebook messages from you guys – all asking: Are you going to be able to pull something fun together for Grace Potter when she comes to Hoyt Sherman next Sunday (1/27). Well, I can finally tell you: YES!
I first saw Grace Potter and the Nocturnals play a few years ago at our “Live in the Vineyard” event in Napa, CA (what a setting, right?!). The whole band is great. Grace has an amazing voice – and, I have to tell you: I was nervous asking her to do a little something extra on a cold day in Iowa – in January! On top of it, everyone seems to have the flu (raising my hand), and the last thing I want to do is put Grace, or her band, at risk. Remember, this is what they do for a living. No Singing = No Money!
Ever the professional, she agreed! So, here’s the deal: Grace Potter and the Nocturnals will do a private show with 10 STAR listeners and their guests – before their show next Sunday night. You’ll even get an autographed poster. This is very private and experience you will remember for a lifetime.
This coming week, we’ll have two ways for you to enter to win:
- Via the STAR E-Mail Club. If you’re not a member, sign up now to enter to win. If you’re already a member, look for an email from us mid week. We’ll select 5 people to win a pair of tickets to the concert, plus a pair of passes to our invite only pre-show party.
- Karess Carter will be giving away tickets to both (concert/pre-show party) during Lyrical Pursuit this coming week (1/21-1/25) around 11:20am. 5 more winners and their guests will be selected.
Several weeks in the making, but worth the wait.
