Debbie Gibson can explain why she looks so skeletal lately: she’s got Lyme disease. Gibson writes on her Web site she is not sure how she got it.

She says last spring, she started displaying food sensitivities, and it got so bad she couldn’t keep on weight. She also developed tingling in her hands and feet, night sweats, chills, fevers and migraines.

Gibson looked so bad she went to a dermatologist and got Botox, which wreaked havoc on her physically and mentally.

She had been seeing doctors but none of them thought to test her for Lyme disease – until one finally did. Gibson says she’s still undergoing treatment but she’s getting better.
