Singer Katy Perry has landed Cosmopolitan magazine’s first-ever global cover.

The “Roar” hitmaker will be featured on front of all 62 issues of the magazine from around the world in the July issue.

A statement from editor-in-chief Joanna Coles reads, “Katy’s music and attitude have universal appeal to young women everywhere. She crosses all cultural boundaries. Her music is soulful and empowering in equal measure. She’s the first Cosmo global icon.”

The thrilled singer took to Instagram.com on Wednesday to boast about her new icon role, writing, “NBD (no big deal) just COVERing all 62 international editions of @Cosmopolitan’s July issue…”

The issues hit newsstands around the world on June 3.
