Pharrell, Ariana Grande to kick off NFL’s 95th season

Singers Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande have been recruited to help launch the new football season in September.

The “Happy” hitmaker will perform in front of the crowd at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington ahead of the first game of the National Football League’s 95th season between Super Bowl winners the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 4.

Grande will sing the national anthem and native Seattle rock heroes Soundgarden will kick off the free event with a performance.

The launch will air on NBC network and the NFL Network.
