Singer Keith Urban is launching his own guitar line.

The “American Idol” judge has teamed up with bosses at Home Shopping Network to release the Urban Guitar Collection on Nov. 3.

He says, “I’ve watched some of the greatest guitarists in the world perform, and I’ve seen people just learning how to play.

“The looks on their faces are almost always the same, and the connection with the instrument is genuine.”

The collection will include two versions of the Phoenix Edition guitar – an acoustic model and an acoustic/electric version.

A portion of the proceeds from sales will benefit the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, which provides instruments to struggling music programmes and the Grammy Foundation.

REVIEW: ‘How To Be Single’ feels the same while trying too hard to be different

22-overlay-9

"How to Be Single" makes a valiant attempt to send up rom-com clichés but it borrows so much from other, better movies that you start to wonder if the film’s title should be "How to Commit Larceny."
