Mid-Iowa Fertility is led by Dr. Brian Cooper and Dr. Donald Young. Their outstanding academic credentials and clinical experience are backed by a knowledgeable staff of nurses, embryologists and financial coordinator.

Brian C. Cooper, M.D.
Dr. Cooper attended the University of Michigan receiving his BS degree in Chemistry and Molecular Biology in 1994. He graduated in the top 10 of his class from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1999. After receiving his MD degree, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa. Dr. Cooper completed his Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Training at the University of Vermont. Dr. Cooper joined Mid-Iowa Fertility in 2006.

Donald C. Young, D.O., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Young is the Medical Director of the Mid-Iowa Fertility Clinic. He received his B.A. from Drake University in 1981 and then attended Des Moines University, graduating in 1985. Dr. Young completed his internship at the University of Iowa, followed by his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, California, graduating in 1989. After finishing his U.S. Air Force active duty commitment, he completed his Reproductive Endocrinology Infertility fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in 1993. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Young opened Mid-Iowa Fertility in 1993.
