Twelve-year-old Alex Moen was watching “SpongeBob SquarePants” when his parents told him the news, he needed to have brain surgery. A brain tumor was stunting his growth. A couple weeks later Alex was having the tumor removed. Just a few days after surgery, Alex was walking around the hospital.
Alex is expected to make a full recovery. He’s currently taking growth hormones, other medicines and exercising often. He’s excited to play baseball this summer.
