How long have you been a couple?

How did you meet?
We were working at Toys R Us while both living in Vegas. I had worked there for a year and he had just got hired. I tried to ignore him until one day he heard me complaining i was hungry and offered to go get food with me after work. That was Dec. 16th 2017 and we have been together ever since. Including back to my hometown of Huxley a year later.
What was your first date?
That dinner we went to Chipotleand just sat and talked. It was simple yet perfect. Now every year around that day we go to Chipotle and just talk.
Which one of you is more excited to get married on the radio?
He is for sure!
Why aren’t you married yet?
We scheduled, booked and paid for our wedding in Feb. 2020 scheduled it for July 2020. We all know why that didn’t happen. Then Pat had planned this whole surprise wedding weekend for Dec 16 2023 but that was foiled by a lot of unfortunate events unfolding in mid 2023.
What was the moment you knew they were “the one”?
I realized she was where i wanted to be when we moved back to the Midwest. We moved back at different times but stayed a couple. she came back after i did. i went to visit her and realized how much i loved her and her kids and didn’t want to be without all of them again.
