Blood Donor Day 2014

The 32nd Annual Blood Donor Day will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Capital Square and Valley West Mall in Des Moines.

Blood donors can give their life saving gift at Capital Square located at 400 Locust Street in downtown Des Moines, between 6am – 2pm. There are no appointments necessary and all donors will receive a free t-shirt.

A FREE shuttle service will be offered to donors donating at Capital Square. Donors can park at LifeServe Blood Center located at 431 East Locust Street and catch the shuttle that runs every 10-15 minutes. Donors can also take part in Blood Donor Day by donating at Valley West Mall located at 1551 Valley West Drive in West Des Moines from 11am – 7pm. Free child care will be offered at Valley West Mall for blood donors.
