UScellular Will Take Over Varsity Cinema to Provide Free Holiday Movie

    December 13, 2025 - 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Varsity Cinema
    1207 25th St.

This holiday season, UScellular, now part of T-Mobile, will give back to the greater Des Moines community by providing free admission to a holiday movie. The company will take over Varsity Cinema to show “Elf.” Seats are limited, so registration is required. People are encouraged to register for free tickets at movieregistration.uscellular.com

This movie theater takeover is part of UScellular and T-Mobile’s Better Together Giving Together holiday program.

UScellular has long been known for its deep connection to local communities and will donate nearly $150,000 worth of needed items to more than 50 nonprofit organizations across the country this holiday season.

T-Mobile has a shared commitment to support local communities. With the companies now joined together, they will help more people stay connected and create new opportunities for the areas they serve.
