Out to Lunch is a free event series, open to the public, that pops up in various Downtown Des Moines (DSM) locations. Downtown DSM employees, residents and visitors socialize with others in a vibrant, outdoor Downtown DSM setting with local food trucks and live music throughout the summer. The 2024 Out to Lunch location schedule is: May 15: Principal®, High Street from Seventh – Ninth; May 22: City of Des Moines, 401 Robert D. Ray Road; May 29: Nationwide, 12th Street from Grand – Locust . June 5: University Of Iowa | Tippie College of Business, 12th Street from Grand – Locust; June 12: Cowles Commons; June 26: Federal Home Loan Bank Parking Lot
