Walk together and raise awareness for suicide prevention at the Central Iowa Out of the Darkness Walk on Sunday, Sept. 20 at DMACC in Ankeny. Check-in begins at 11 am, with the 1.2-mile walk kicking off at 1 pm.

The event will feature an opening ceremony, hope and healing activities, resource tables and complimentary honor beads for participants. Karam’s Grill will also be serving food from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the walk.
