A lighthearted musical with a twist, in this adaptation the Wolf is not evil – just misunderstood. The Wolf wants to be friends with the Three Little Pigs and invite them to his birthday party. Things go terribly wrong for the Wolf when he tries to deliver the invitations. The Wolf is surprised that he has the strength to blow down the houses and feels badly about it. Ultimately, houses of straw, sticks, and bricks are rebuilt along with friendships. Children learn lessons of a job well done, thoughtfulness, and accepting differences.
