Kurt’s Blog: I Found 7 Reasons Why The Packers Loss Was a Good Thing

Spoiler: There’s nothing good about the Packers loss yesterday…I’m just not coping well with the defeat.

They say that writing out your feelings helps. I highly doubt that, but whatevs.

So here we go…I’m going to try and look for the positives from the crushing of emotions yesterday.

THE 8 REASON WHY THE PACKERS LOSS WAS A GOOD THING.

  1. I’m saving sooooooooooo much $$ on Packers championship apparel…and Super Bowl apparel…and, even though I have an Aaron Rodgers jersey…I would obviously need one with the commemorative patch on it, right? Seriously. Hundreds of dollars was just saved.
  2. You awesome Star 102.5 listeners won’t have to hear very poorly crafted parody songs talking about the Packers greatness. (I already had plans of turning “Drivers License” into something great about Davante Adams…and “Watermelon Sugar” has the same syllables as “Robert Tonyan is Great”, so there was that).
  3. I won’t tell outrageous lies to all my friends outside of Iowa that Allen Lazard’s family lives next door to us in Urbandale. Spoiler: they do not.
  4. I don’t have to keep debating over what type of nachos I have to make two Sundays from now.
  5. I won’t have to tell my daughter that she can’t go to Futsal on February 4th, because it’s from 4-5, and we have to be home watching pregame.
  6. Again…saved so much $$ on clothes.
  7. No ridiculous giant list of all 66 Green Bay Packers (or however many are on the roster) in terms of how special they are to me.

Yeah…that didn’t help.

Still crushed. Grr…… and go Chiefs. Nobody likes you Tom Brady.
