This little guy is 9 weeks! He had his 2 month check up yesterday and weighed in at 12.2lbs!! He left the hospital weighing 6 lbs 10oz. Is it too soon to call college scouts??? : )

This Olaf was all Mia wanted for Christmas.
Until he can make his own choices, Rory is forced to wear the same gear as Dad.

As you know, I decided to encapsulate my placenta after the birth of Rory. I’ve been taking the pills for 8 days and I feel great. My milk supply is better than it was with Mia, my mood has been good (I’ve only cried for no reason a few times), and my energy has been higher (considering my lack of sleep). If you have any interest in the process, my mom was there while Amy Brooks Murphy turned my placenta into 101 pills and she took pictures. Below is a link to a few of the photos; they summarize the process. I find them to be very interesting… but it is my placenta : ) If it’s something you’re interested in, Amy is a great resource.

We’re home and adjusting. Rory is a very sweet baby and Mia is a great big sister. I’m learning how to change a baby boy’s diaper… it’s a small victory when he doesn’t pee all over himself or me : )
