Delta Dental Smile Power Salutes CISS

Iowans know a smile goes a long way in difficult times. We can assure one another that when one of us needs help, we’ll stand with you — and share a smile. It’s what Iowans do.

We support Delta Dental of Iowa and their foundation’s COVID-19 relief program that has contributed $500,000 to 128 nonprofits across Iowa working to keep Iowans healthy.

We’re going to lift up the good works of 10 of these nonprofits are doing in Central Iowa to help our neighbors over the next few weeks. Check back every few days for some inspiration. Find out how you can help.

Join Delta Dental and all of us at station help area nonprofits meet these unprecedented needs. Go to deltadentalia.com/smilepower to donate to these organizations directly because your support — and your smiles — matter.

Melissa O’Neil, CEO of Central Iowa Shelter and Services, explains how CISS is tackling, and overcoming, the challenges of keeping Iowa’s homeless safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
