Kurt’s Blog: 10 Awesome Things From the Summer

With Labor Day on Monday, that, to me, marks the end of summer…

So long Summer of 2019…it was real…and it was real fun…

Here are 10 things from the Summer of 2019 that was awesome.

Every Lizzo song. I love Lizzo. She’s great…if she ever came to Des Moines, I would definitely buy a “I’m 100% that B” shirt. Too much fun.

Getting to sing Go Cubs Go with my wife & kids in the bleachers at Wrigley after the Cubs beat the Giants…and Rizzo smacked two dingers.

Starcourt Mall in Stranger Things.  They place looked like so much fun.

This picture of a “Short Legged Dexter” cow at the Fair…and my son Dexter being hilarious.

Going to Target.

Teaching American Idol winner Maddie Poppe how to floss.

The Bacon Balls at the Iowa State Fair from The Bacon Box

This picture of my wife and me in the Bleachers at Wrigley.

The 10 lb. sandwich that Adventureland brought out.

Getting a family pic with Hawkeye stud AJ Epenesa

Listen, I could go through the other 1438 photos I took this summer, but that’s a LOT of work.

So long summer.
