My official prediction for tomorrow’s game…
Hawkeyes 27…Iowa State 13. 
Now, before all you Cyclone fans jump all over me for being a homer…let me clarify. I think this game is close until the final minutes. I think until the final few minutes, it’ll be 20-13, but the Hawkeyes will score a late TD to push it to 27-13. So, no, I’m not calling this a blowout…it’ll be close…it’ll just look worse in the end.
Listen, I’ll be first in line to admit that I have no clue what this Hawkeye team is capable/not capable of…they’re a complete mystery, and I think that’s what gives them the edge.
Most importantly…what will I drink? I’m thinking a pumpkin ale of some sort…I have been drinking this Founders’ “Dirty B*****d” ale…which is a Scotch Style Ale, and it’s been kicking my butt. It’s definitely a sipping beer.
Favorite Iowa/Iowa State Memory
For me…it had to be being in the North End Zone of Kinnick when Andy Brodell returned the punt for TD…in the rain, in a game where there was such a build-up…it was just a great, cathartic moment.
