By the way…what did I have? They’re chalking it up to “extreme food poisoning”. I have no idea what I ate…but holy cow. On the plus side, I lost 7 lbs…so I’m lookin’ great!

I learned that from the hours of 8a-9:30a, our front door-step is apparently Amsterdam for birds. Just birds arriving…doing their thang…leaving….then a new couple shows up. I’m calling it the “Swinger Stoop”.

I came to the conclusion that I’m a much bigger Alice in Chains fan than a Nirvana fan.

I really like movies that surprise me…case in point, “The Lone Ranger”. Found it over-the-top…but actually very enjoyable. Johnny Depp is best when wearing make-up.

Reading a book that includes a lot about junkies…while constantly pooping and puking…will only induce more puking & pooping. I read “Everybody Loves Our Town: The Oral History of the Rise of the Seattle Music Scene”…and it was great, but some of the overdose stories made me visit the can a few more times.

Last week was Spring Clean-Up Day in Urbandale…and 1997 Kurt would have been in heaven. The amount of large, big-screen TVs that we just throw away because they’re not flat screen…it’s amazing. The fraternity house at Drake would have been well-stocked!

I’m still not sick of Frozen…but I am losing my luster for “Let It Go”…it’s been replaced with the Olaf “Summer” song.

Convicts who escape are dumb. That guy who escaped over by 73rd & Hickman sent a panic through the neighborhoods, which sucked….but it did lead my wife to finding a nice police scanner app on her phone. By the way, you were free for 18 hours, and only made it to Prole? If that were me, I’d be somewhere in Colorado by then.

I watched a lot of ESPN, and realized that I don’t care about 75% of their stories…boy, they really want us to like certain stuff.

My 3 year-old son is addicted to Lego: NinjaGo…and I can’t figure out that stuff at all.
