Kurt’s Blog: An MJ Album…in 2014?

My best find of the year so far? Tractor Day at Living History Farms. It was this past Saturday, and it was a blast. The kids got to ride a “Monster Truck” tractor…we drove a Gator…they climbed on tractors…free lunch…pedal tractor races. They had a blast.

One of my favorite songs of the year…Eminem’s “Headlights” has just as powerful of a video (that sentence didn’t make sense, but you know what I mean)

My wife and I went and saw Neighbors last night. Hilarious. I hope Zac Efron doesn’t end up “looking for sushi restaurants in the bad parts of town a 2am” too often…he’s incredibly likeable.

If you told me that in 2014, I’d be doing a Michael Jackson list, I would have thought you were a tad off….but here we are…May 13, 2014…and Michael Jackson’s new album “Xscape” drops.

Eating snow cones or snow cream can be a winter delight, if done safely

As the recent winter storm recedes, residents of lesser-affected areas might be tempted to whip up bowls of "snow cream" — snow combined with milk, sugar and vanilla — after seeing techniques demonstrated on TikTok. Others might want to try "sugar on snow," a taffy-like confection made by pouring hot maple syrup onto a plate of snow.
