Duck Update
There was one egg as of Monday….I checked yesterday afternoon…and now there’s this…
I will start my own Duck Dynasty.
I immediately started Googlin’…and found out that a duck won’t sit on her nest until all the eggs are laid. So, this duck is just comin’ back once a day, laying more eggs, and then flying off to who knows where. Eventually, though, once this egg-laying-palooza is over, this duck will return to cover her eggs. Do I leave out bread? What happens when they hatch? What then? I’m not going to harm the little ducks or anything, but I can’t really have my kids playing in the backyard while Mama Duck closely guards her eggs.

Harrison Barnes
This morning, we talked with Harrison Barnes, and what a fantastic guy. Very down-to-earth, very personable (heck, he even laughed at our jokes). He’s at the Urbandale HyVee on Friday from 4-6 to sign autographs…and then at the Ames HyVee on Saturday.Oh, he turns 21 tomorrow, so happy early birthday.
