National Night Out was a Success Last Night
Great job by the Urbandale Police Department for putting together another great National Night Out last night. Both kids loved it….and got brand new bike helmets, and it’s one of our favorite nights of the year.

Yesterday was our first trip to Adventureland…and holy cow, I’m exhausted..in an AWESOME way. What a blast…and the kids had such a good time. Words can barely explain their excitement.
My son was brave enough to ride the Roarin’ Rapids…my daughter braved the teacups…and both had the courage to ride The Underground. My wife got backrub yesterday…and I might need 3-4 days to recover, ha!

First it was the bathroom encounter during the Iowa/Minnesota game a few years ago…and now we have Fountain Lady. Wow, as you can see from the above link…she had quite a night….which included having a fun romp through the Kauffman Stadium fountain.

This is absolutely ridiculous…a bowler was one strike away from throwing a perfect game…he releases his final throw…and the pin-setter bar comes down, and BLOCKS THE BALL!
