Arnold Schwarzenegger v. Sylvester Stallone (by the way…who Sylvester became “Sly” has always bothered me…you can’t switch letters around to make your nickname, right? His nickname should have been “Syl”…which would have been silly.
Ahnold v. Sly…who wins? Who’s better? (by the way, the pic to the left here are actually them…not wax figures….they look a bit waxy though)
We’ve seen them together briefly in the Expendables movies…and there were always nods to each other in movies (like in Last Action Hero, where there’s a Sylvester Stallone cut-out in the Blockbuster…wow, my brain is wasteland of useless memories).
Now, though, these two titans of the movie industry are paired together in “Escape Plan”…which, I don’t know if it’ll be any good, but the movie just looks downright fun.
Between the two…I pick Arnold. His movies, I have felt, have always been better…more silly, more puns….more exciting. Arnold is the ultimate action movie star…and I don’t know…I suppose Stallone is in my Top 5 of action heroes, but I’m not totally sold on that. (I have such high standards apparently).

Ballin’ At the Mall!
This Sunday, there’s a great free event being held by the Drake Men’s & Women’s Basketball teams over at Center Court of Jordan Creek Town Center. It’s “Ballin’ at the Mall”, and it’s going to be a great event. I have been given the honor to emcee the event…and hopefully, I can come through with some good player intros (ala WIll Ferrell).
Tons of stuff to do while you’re out there…both teams will be out there doing layup drills, there will be cheerleaders….contests…a toddler dunk contest. How AWESOME is that?
