After the show this morning, I can’t wait to see the new Ghostbusters movie. I know that every man my age went ballistic when they heard that they were re-doing the Ghostbusters movie, but those folks need to get a grip.
How could they re-make a classic? How could they do this? Women Ghostbusters? It’s crazy!
The first Ghostbusters trailer was the “worst-received” trailer in YouTube history…and why? Just because it was different?
The original Ghostbusters is a classic movie…but it’s campy, it’s silly, it’s cheap-looking to be honest. I went and re-watched it last weekend, and there were parts that certainly I remember really enjoying, but most of the time I spent re-watching the movie I was thinking “what is going on here?”
I welcome this reboot…and as fans of Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Kristin Wiig, I’m excited what they can do…and I’m really hoping that it’s a good enough movie to wipe away the painful memories of how awful Ghostbusters 2 was.
The disdain for this movie is ridiculous…it’s going to be a fun movie…and isn’t that what we want from a summer blockbuster?
I’ll be honest…I even like the new Fall Out Boy “Ghostbusters” song…yes, it doesn’t sound anything like the original, and that’s what I like about it. You can’t replicate Ray Parker Jr!? Make this movie as new and original as possible…I’m all for it.
To the Ghostbusters of the past…thank you for your efforts…you protected us from ghosts very well…
Welcome the new GHOSTBUSTERS!
