Kurt’s Blog: Beyonce Was Busy Overnight

Beyonce performing liveSo much happens when I’m asleep. I went to bed at 9:45 last night…I woke up at 2:30 (due to our son coming in, tapping me on the head, and telling me “Daddy, tomorrow we need a map…I need to find out how to make it to the North Pole”‘.)

So, as I’m going back to bed…I, of course, check fantasy football…and then I find out Beyonce released a full-blown album overnight? Hanh? What? Alrighty. That was a total surprise…no one heard a word about it beforehand.

Question:

The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug looks really good….I haven’t seen the first one…and to be honest, I was totally confused by the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I’ll just be totally lost just jumping into this one, right? My nerd friends are excited…and I pretend I know who Bilbo is…but really, I have no idea.

Obsessed…

Completely with www.woofmaker.com! Remember the scene from Home Alone where Kevin looks at Buzz’s girlfriend and says “Woof”? Now, you can insert any photo in there. It’s totally Roar-some (sorry, kids have been watching a lot of Henry Hugglemonster lately).

(Interesting Note: in the movie Home Alone, that’s not even a real girl in the photo…it’s actually the director’s son dressed up as a girl. The director didn’t want to actually insult a girl by putting a pic in there.

I Blame Karess

Karess…you told me about Paw Patrol yesterday…I DVRed two episodes (and the Xmas special last night as well)…kids…love…it. A puppy on a firetruck? Two of their favorite things ever!

Angry Birds Go

Download it…become even more of a time-waster. Done…and done. Now, it’s Angry Birds in racing form!

Most Disappointing Movies & TV of 2013

A list came out with the most disappointing movies & TV shows of 2013…and I totally disagree with the first movie they picked.

Monsters University – Now, maybe I’m just brainwashed because I’ve watched it over 15 times, but this movie is fantastic. It’s funny, it’s extremely cute, and totally not a disappointment.

The rest of the list, though? I totally agree….Star Trek Into Darkness, Man of Steel, Great Gatsby, The World’s End, The Fifth Estate…oh, they put “Pacific Rim” on that list too. Go watch it, I’m 90% sure you’ll enjoy it. Heck, even Colleen and I agreed that this movie was much better than we had expected.!

For disappointing TV, for me…it’s painfully clear what my #1 choice would be…

The final season of Dexter.

That was just a trainwreck…with a terrible ending…and just a complete bust. It still has left a sour taste in my mouth.

The rest of the disappointing TV shows that they had listed included…The Walking Dead, Agent’s of SHIELD, Under the Dome, Homeland, New Girl, and Super Fun Night.

The Least Disappointing Show of the Year?
The Goldbergs! If you aren’t watching it, then you’re missing out.

I Totally “Belieb” this Story

The “Star” magazine is reporting that Justin Bieber’s new pickup line is…walking up to girls and asking them “Do you want to be Biebered?”

I totally see this happening.

Seriously Kanye…enough.

No wonder you and Kim are a couple…who else could stand either one of you for that long?

AWESOME is as AWESOME does
