Big ups to my buddy EJ for getting married this weekend. Even better…the DJ playlist at the reception was exceptional. The 1996 Fraternity Party was not forgotten about. Anytime “Tubthumping” is played…you know it’s good.
How do you know it was a good reception? When you wake up and your legs hurt…and you feel like you’ve lost weight due to the amount of dancing.
Plus, who doesn’t love seeing 6 people in their mid-30s trying to do all the moves to *Nsync’s “Bye Bye Bye”
First off…my apologies to the Panera outside of Minneapolis. I am unaware of your policy. I thought it was like a Noodles & Co….where someone comes and buses our table afterwards. Apparently, you don’t…so I’m sorry that we left our plates. There…conscience cleared.
Bachelorette premiere tonight! Woot woot…it’s the best episode of the year…where
guys embarrass themselves as they exit a limo is an annual highlight of my TV watching. I wasn’t a big fan of Andi on the Juan Pablo season, but after talking to her this morning…I’m a fan. She seems much more fun & personable than I had thought. Plus, 2 Iowa guys to root for….good times!
Here’s what I know…people I defend will do their best to make sure that they are indefensible. Avril Lavigne…makes that ridiculous “Hello Kitty” video….and Miley Cyrus (who I’m not a big fan of…but will defend)…but Miley, that performance of The Beatles’ “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” last night on the Billboard Music Awards was awful. I mean, just awful…and why were you dressed as a bird.
Check out this kid…he’s one smooth operator. He already had a souvenir ball that he bought at a game…so when he got an actual foul ball, he did his best to impress the girls behind him. So he gave them the ball…well, not the foul ball…the souvenir ball….and it looks like they fell for it.
Went and saw Godzilla on Friday…and I thought it was AWESOME. I liked what they did with Godzilla…and even though the two dudes in front of me kept saying “Where’s Godzilla”, I thought the buildup in the beginning was great, and would have been fine just continuing to watch that plot line.
By the way, when you go see Godzilla…explain to me how Elizabeth Olsen is related 
to Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen? She’s such a great actress!
