Kurt’s Blog: If I Were a Woman…I’d Lose My Mind

In the past week, I’ve been at every mall in the Metro at least twice to do some Christmas shopping, and I’ve come to one conclusion…if I was a woman, I’d lose my mind.

Why you ask? Great question.

When I roam through the mall…I go unbothered…(except for the dodging of non-hovering hoverboard riders)…no one stops me…no one asks me anything. It’s peaceful….serene.

However, I’ve noticed this with my wife…and with at least 6-7 women who were walking ahead of me…the amount of times you’re stopped and asked questions by folks at the kiosks is staggering.

Do you need a chair massage? Are those your real nails? Let me show you some Dead Sea salt scrub. Can I just ask you a question? Do you have a dog?

It would drive me absolutely nuts…and I don’t know how you ladies can keep it together. Especially when you’ve already walked down one hallway, and are coming back on the other side 20 minutes later…the same person stops you!

I know my wife has faked being on the phone…and at times, we go out of our way to walk through the upper-level just to avoid it all.

I don’t know how you all keep it together. Well done to you.
