Getting Cranky
If you notice that I’m cranky this morning…it’s due to a simple reason…I’m having my first ever cholesterol test later this morning…so I have to fast…so I’m fasting…and I’m starving…and getting irritable.
Nine Inch Nails
NIN in KC was AWESOME. It was everything a NIN concert should be…lots of smoke/mist….lots of crazy strobe lights….growling…yelling…and Trent Reznor.
Pearl Jam has always been my #1 favorite band ever…and #2 has always sort of changed over the years, but I think I’m ready to cement that NIN are my #2 band…ever.
My buddy, Plagman, and I had a great time at the show…it could have done with a few older songs, and less new ones, but even then, the stage show was so crazy good that it didn’t matter.
By the way, growing up, I thought Trent Reznor was a skinny little dude…that’s why he was so relatable…not the case…the guy is ripped.
Hearing “Hurt” live gave me immediate chills…it was AWESOME.

Many people are upset over Miley Cyrus’ performance at the VMAs…they found it obscene…as a lifelong Michael Jordan fan, I find this to be one of the most obscene things ever done. What is this?

Really Enjoying These Two Shows
“The Goldbergs” & “The Trophy Wife”.
The Goldbergs is legitmately funny…and the 80s nostalgia feel is great. Jeff Garlin is hilarious. The Trophy Wife isn’t quite as funny, but I just think it’s good…just a good, solid show…with Malin Akerman…again, I’m incredibly biased. Bradley Whitford, it appears you may have had some work done.
I’m hoping Rebel Wilson’s “Super Fun Night” will be as funny as I hope.
Umm…Still Cranky
It took me only 20 minutes to write this…and I’ve only become more and more hungry…and crankier.
Jennifer & I went to Noodles & Company yesterday for lunch…it’s one of her favorite places…I had never been. She loves their BBQ pork sandwich, and as I sit here starving, all I can think about is having another Wisconsin Cheesesteak sandwich. Holy cow…I might not make it.
