Kurt’s Blog: I’m Not Sure What This Is

As a purveyor of finding beers & drinks I’ve never tried…and a desire to try them all…I found this in the beer section the other day.

what is this

(Full disclosure…it was next to the hard root beers, which I’m still in love with).

“Best Damn Cherry Cola”…I like beer…I like cherry cola…count me in on this…at least, that’s what I was thinking when I bought it.

I opened it up…it smelled like a Captain & Coke…sorta…enough to make me think Captain & Coke.

Then I took a drink…and I don’t know what I drank. I liked it…but I don’t know what this is….is this supposed to be a rum and Coke? Is this supposed to be a malt beer with cherry cola flavoring? Is it supposed to be a cherry coke with some sort of beer flavoring?

It’s absolutely bizarre….of course, I had to have another just to try and prove my hypothesis. (truth be told, I’m not sure what my hypothesis was).

It’s rare that I find a food or drink…enjoy it…and not be sure what it was afterwards.
