Kurt’s Blog: It’s Tuesday, and I’m Still Ticked at Walking Dead

(SPOILERS FROM SUNDAY’S EPISODE)

Alright….Sunday night…The Walking Dead…was all set….all set…for …

Disappointment…and bewilderment.

I’m in full agreement with Ken…I don’t want this battle with Negan to already be taken place…there should be no rush to end Negan’s reign.

But…but…here we are…all lined up for the battle…and what a terrible battle it was.

First…we get Gregory from the Hilltop going on and on about anyone who sides with Rick will no longer be welcome at the Hilltop. Um…dude, you’re the only one not allowed at the Hilltop. Everyone has already made their choice, we don’t need to rehash this nonsense.

Oh…45 second monologue…with Negan in the wide open…Rick…takes no shot.

Negan then talks again….Rick…takes no shot.

Last chance….Rick…takes no shot.

Then, it’s Rick’s turn….here’s one minute about how “I’m going to get you Negan”….takes no shot.

Then…tons of shooting….Negan is already inside.

Rick…confounded he didn’t hit Negan…why are you stunned? 1) you’re a terrible shot…2) you decided a monologue would be better.

Then…fast forward to the end of the episode, where Gabriel inexplicably decides to save Gregory (which was so ridiculous)…and now Gabriel is stuck inside a box…and here’s a voice…of course it’s Negan…Gabriel…you have…a … gun… you can be the hero. Of course, he isn’t.

Ok…it’s the Zombie Outbreak….you’re stuck in a box surrounded by walkers….you hear a voice next to you…you shoot. Something…anything.

Now we have to rescue Gabriel? Snooze fest. Walking Dead…it’s time to think up some new plot twists. Give us fans something we can actually latch on to.

OH…and OH….Rick Grimes dream sequences? Dislike.

‘Scary Movie’ tops box office, slaying ‘Masters of the Universe’ and adding to low-budget streak

The summer box office is booming — but not because of the usual suspects. After three weeks of indie horror dominance at the box office, the slasher spoof "Scary Movie" topped ticket sales with $55 million over the weekend, according to studio estimates Sunday, easily besting the far-from-mighty "Masters of the Universe."

Carolina trails Vegas in the Stanley Cup Final and has a big decision to make for Game 4

A sequence of events in a Stanley Cup Final that has gotten crazier by the minute has put the Carolina Hurricanes at a crossroads. They blew a two-goal lead and lost Game 1, erased a two-goal deficit and won Game 2, and rallied from down four goals in Game 3, only to lose in double overtime on a fluky bounce.
