Kurt’s Blog: Let’s Ban This From Facebook…but Keep These

Here we go…

7 Things That We Need to Ban From Facebook….

1) Posts like this…

“Ugh”

“Well, that sucked”

“Don’t even ask me why today has been terrible”.

I don’t care.

2) Posts that are just hoping for “likes”

“If you think puppies are cute, like this post”

“If you think Mondays aren’t fun, like this post”

3) Suggested Posts

I don’t know why, but 2 out of the last 5 times I’ve logged onto Facebook, in my Newsfeed,I get something from Beach Girls, asking me to “Vote for my favorite dancer”. I don’t even “like” the Beach Girls page, how is this happening?

4) What You’re Listening To

This needs to stop, I can’t handle anymore “Michael just listened to ‘Prodigy – Firestarter”…or “Eric just listened to ‘Creed – My Own Prison'”. Annoying…and Eric, get a better taste in music, now, otherwise, we can no longer be friends.

5) Pictures of rain

I can handle pictures of snow…I can even stomach through a summer of photos of dashboard speedometers that show the temperature…but rain? You can’t really see rain falling…it’s just wet ground.

6) Pictures of drinks

Put a picture of you drinking the drink at least. Why just a picture of your drink? I know what a Miller Lite looks like.

7) Some E-Cards

Enough said.
Keep These Comin’ on Facebook

Pictures of Jimmy Wright w/ Bon Jovi (see the Star 102.5 FB page)

Scanned in pictures from times before digital cameras. Always classic stuff.

Fake Celebrity Account postings (as in the Packers signed Clay Matthews to a new contract yesterday..from his FB page comes a post…”Green & Yellow Pack Attack”. There’s no way Clay Matthews would say something like that).
AWESOME is as AWESOME does!
