Kurt’s Blog: My Boss Sent Me the Rudest Email Ever

Mr. Allen, You Are on My List

Yesterday morning was going along just all fine & dandy…and then I get an email from Mr. Allen…the subject read like this…

*****Available for Download Now! “Slow Suicide”….The Return of Scott Stapp”

mrallen-blog

How did this email get through my “No Scott Stapp, No Creed” filter?

Mr. Allen knew that this would send me spiraling out of control, ha ha…but I will get him back…with non-stop pestering to bring back Avril Lavigne’s entire catalog of excellent songs.

Well played Mr. Allen.

Also On My List?
Big 12 officials.

Listen…I’m a Hawkeye fan…but Cyclones, you got hosed last night…and I’m not even talking about the fumble (I think it definitely was a fumble)…but those plays are always called so weirdly, sometimes they blow the play dead immediately, other times, they let it go on & on & on. No consistency.

However, how did the officials let this go without an ejection?

HOOK-EM

That’s one of the dirtiest late hits I’ve ever seen…and in this whole new football world where you can be ejected for “targeting”, how did this not get an immediate ejection?

Seriously, Texas Longhorns, this is why anyone with more than 4 active brain cells root against you. Booooooooooooooo.

Dear Mack Brown,

Nobody likes you.

Sincerely,

All of us

Cyclones, you got a raw deal last night.

Gravity

I can not wait to see this movie…it looks incredible. They kept talking about it a few months ago, and it didn’t really do much for me, but the more I keep seeing the previews, and hearing the critics rave about it, it’s a definite must see.

I despise 3-D…but I think I might have to cave on this one.

An Important Anniversary

Yesterday marked the 10 year anniversary of Magician Roy Horn being attacked by his white tiger Montecor. It was an awful incident, but it did inspire one of my favorite Halloween costumes ever…and so timely!

10 Movies From the ’80s Every Kid Should See

Buzzfeed at a list of 25 movies…I’m condensing it to 10…these will be the 10 movies that I will make my kids watch…many life lessons to be learned…

The Stay-Puff Marshmallow ManBack to the Future

ET

Flight of the Navigator – where else will they learn the Rice-a-Roni jingle?

The Princess Bride

Ghostbusters

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

The Breakfast Club

Adventures in Babysitting

Fast Times at Ridgemont Hight

The Goonies

Oh, the lessons they will learn!

This Man is NOT a Criminal Mastermind

I saw a story about a guy who broke into a home in Oklahoma City…and stole several items. Apparently, he decided to use the batrhoom of the house before he left…and forgot to flush. The police were able to get DNA from his feces & toilet paper to track him down.

Lesson learned: Always Flush.

AWESOME is as AWESOME does!
