Well, it’s happening…my 2 year old son Dexter has his first crush…and she is…..Jessie from Toy Story.
He hearts her. It’s rare now that we go somewhere without Jessie in tow…and yes, we’ve even caught him saying “I love you Jessie”.
We have Toy Story wall stickers in his room, and of course, Jessie is his favorite. So much so, that when he hit his head on his bed, instead of getting a kiss from me, he went to his mama first…and then went over to the wall, put his head up against the wall where the Jessie sticker was, and said “Jessie make it better”.
Jessie comes with us to soccer…she’ll probably come with us to the zoo as well today.
I don’t remember who my first crush was…obviously, at least, not at the age of 2. I remember having a thing for Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter)…but I can’t recall anything earlier than that. Once I was 10…I remember…it was Elle Macpherson.

Shorts & t-shirts today….and then what…wintry mix again this week? I’ve already put away all winter things….and good luck getting the kids back into their winter coats now that they’ve discovered the freedom & moveability of spring fleece coats!!

Red Bull doesn’t seem to be having any effect on me anymore…have I had too much? Is my body now immune to its power? I sure hope not! Maybe, I just have to have more?
