Ties are Dumb
Listen I get it…you can’t have football players playing 6 quarters of football…the chance of injury is to severe…but ties are dumb….especially when a game holds such bragging rights in our household. Packers…Vikings…equal? Blech.
One friend of ours (who doesn’t follow football) said my wife & I should be happy…we’re both “winners”…yet we both felt like “losers”. Nobody wins in a tie…and that sucks.
Oh, even worse…my son informed me that he’s a Dolphins fan? What? Where’d that happen?
Catching Fire
Colleen went & saw it…and loved it…and is already looking forward to 2016. I’m just looking forward to seeing it tomorrow afternoon!

Bring on the Huskers…the Hawkeyes are ready. There’s not much more satisfying than beating the Wolverines…even if they are terrible…it just always feels good to beat Michigan.

Brian, from the Family Guy, I will miss you. Thank you for all the good laughs…the alcohol-induced jokes…and the fact that a talking cartoon dog could bring me so much enjoyment.
We’ll see if I enjoy their new dog “Vinny” as much…it’ll be tough, but Vinny did show some potential!

Both my wife & I watched Miley Cyrus’ performance of “Wrecking Ball” last night on the AMAs, and thought it was very funny. There’s a lot of comments saying that it was creepy, but we didn’t think so…definitely now want to see her in Omaha.
