This past weekend, my daughter and I finished up our first ice skating lessons over at Brenton Skating Plaza…and I must say, both of us had a total blast, and my daughter might be natural. 

My daughter had never been on skates…now she’s done a handful of lessons, and she’s skating around the rink like she owns the place. When it comes to doing new things, she’ll start off a little shy…not with ice skating…she took to it like a fish to frozen water.

She’s definitely much more comfortable on skates than I’ll ever be. Thank goodness my ice skating instructor, Jennifer, is patient…I would have left me behind on the ice.

Next winter…get ice skating lessons at Brenton Skating Plaza on your “Fun Things to Do” list…you won’t regret it…you’ll learn, you’ll have fun, you’ll have hot chocolate afterwards. It’s a win all the way!
