The Bon Jovi/Sambora Feud is Going to Get Good
We’ve all heard the rumors that perhaps Jon Bon Jovi & Richie Sambora don’t see eye-to-eye anymore…and I think it’s going to get nasty soon.
Apparently, Jon said something along the lines that Richie Sambora isn’t like U2’s guitarist, The Edge, as the Edge is irreplaceable.
According to radaronline.com, Richie sent a terse, 3-word email back to Jon saying “Hire the Edge”.
This may become a great summer soap opera.
Premium Rush
Jennifer and I (because we’re done and over Des’ Bachelorette season already…she’s just so uninteresting…and I understand the hypocrisy of us enduring the entire Emily season (where nothing…NOTHING…happened, but we can’t sit through Des’ season?)…anyway, we watched the New York bike messenger movie “Premium Rush” last night, and it’s quite excellent. (Plus only like 90 minutes…perfect for a week night).

Black Sabbath has a new album out today…their first in some 35 years! Right now, I’m reading “Louder Than Hell: The Oral History of Heavy Metal”…so I’m learning more and more about the Rock Gods.

The Boys of Goo release “Magnetic” today as well. I wish I had quick access to the picture from when they were at the Fair many years ago (2000/2001ish?), and I completely freaked out Johnny Rzeznik by trying to put my arm around him in the picture. (Colleen found out in Hollywood Trash a few weeks later that he’s a bit of a germaphobe…and here I am, comin’ at him with arms open. Sorry about that).

It’s an acoustic version of “Welcome to the Jungle”…as performed by the cover band that Axl Rose still calls Guns N’ Roses. (As you can clearly tell, I’m still bitter about their show at the Hilton Coliseum years ago).
