Just the other week, I got the opportunity to experience Scissors & Scotch at The District at Prairie Trail…and everyone, come tell me how good I look!

Do you know what I learned right off the bat? When it comes to taking care of my face…and scalp…I..umm…don’t.
I think Tiana had her work cut out for her when I got my first ever straight-edge shave when I replied to questions like “moisturize ever?” “shaving cream?” with answers like no…and hmm…probably should.

I’m still stunned at the precision of Tiana…when I shave my own face, it’s at least one cut, if not two. Maybe I’m just awful at it, but Tiana left my face feeling super smooth, not one nick, and feeling softer and healthier than I could ever remember. Oh, and I no longer want just regular hot towels…I only want peppermint-scented ones. I have been spoiled.
Same with my scalp! I shave my head at least once a week…and it never feels the way it did after leaving Scissors & Scotch. It felt clean…it felt smooth…and I kept rubbing it, haha. It just felt…better!
Then after this fantastic pampering of my face & scalp…it was on to the bar! What a bar it is…super comfortable, incredible selection, and bartenders/drink specialists that know their drinks!

Their Manhattan & Old-Fashioned can’t be beaten. You have to see for yourself how they infuse that giant ball of ice. It’s really awesome.
Oh, you want some behind-the-scenes magic? Listen to Jeff explain how they make these incredible concoctions.
