Boy, I was a Dork

Boy, I was a dork…such a big dork. When I was growing up, I listened to Magic 104.3 while growing up in Chicago…which was Oldies. Then in 5th/6th grade, I switched to B96, the “Killer Bee”, and tried to get into pop music. Here’s how big of a dork I was…I’d hear a song that I’d never heard before…and then I’d hear the jingle “The Killer Bee”. So, I thought that that song had been performed by a group called “The Killer Bees”.

I distinctly remember a friend asking me…what’s your favorite band…and I said The Killer Bees. Apparently, I thought that every other song I heard was by a fictional group “The Killer Bees”.

There are nerds…there are geeks…but I was a dork.

Always Sunny in Philadelphia

They announced that that this will be the final season of ASIP…this will be the 9th season. I love this show, but it is time to end the show…the past two seasons have been rather ho-hum. Also, Charlie is on the verge of becoming a mega-star.

Ellie Goulding

Between her “Lights”, “Burn”, and “I Need Your Love”…Ellie Goulding has been showing up very prominently on my shuffle. Darn good stuff!
