Kurt’s Blog: Sunday is All About Disney Live

It was about two or three months ago…we were at the Wells Fargo Arena…and that’s when the kids saw…a poster on the wall with this…

disney 1

Both my son and daughter immediately started naming every character on the poster…Rapunzel…Snow White…Mickey…Buzz & Woody…Minnie…Aladdin…Jasmine…Cinderella.

Well, there was an argument…is it Aladdin…or is it Prince Ali? Both my kids heart the movie Aladdin, and just even the idea that Aladdin…Jasmine…and even the Genie would be coming to Des Moines made their day.(When the Genie appears…my daughter may lose her mind).

In fact…25 Disney favorites are coming to the Wells Fargo Arena on Sunday for “Disney Live! Mickey and Minnie’s Doorway to Magic” presented by Stonyfield YoKids Organic Yogurt.

Both my kids get soooo incredibly excited anytime we attend a Disney event. They talk about it for months and months after…”Hey daddy, remember when Jake fired the canon at Capt. Hook?” “Hey daddy, remember when Peter Pan was flying with Tinkerbell?”

I’m really excited for Sunday…and hope you have you plans to go as well.

There are two shows on Sunday…3…and 6. Get your tickets by clicking here. I know there might be a certain on Sunday, but seriously, you can DVR that. All the commercials are on YouTube already anyways…and unless your Broncos or Panthers fan, we all end up being casual fans of the game.

You can DVR a game…you can’t DVR a Disney memory.
