Well, I am moving slowly this morning….and it’s for a great reason…the Taylor Swift concert was absolutely AWESOME.
Taylor was incredible, Florida Georgia Line was just rip-roarin’ good time…but it was Ed Sheeran who stole the show. His set was absolutely mind-blowing.

What we lack in hair similarities we make up for with long shorts & vintage Air Jordans.
Ed was a supercool guy…very laid back, very personable…just a great guy.
Seriously, his set was outstanding.

Being in radio definitely has its perks…and going to concerts like this is definitely one of the main reasons why I love radio so much and why I wanted to go into radio. It got even better last night when I picked up our tickets from Will Call…and finding out we were in the 2nd row. 2nd freakin’ row!
Yes, that’s my wife with Taylor Swift right behind her…

It was just a blast.

(ugh, I hate when I have the “Crazy Eye” smile)
Oh, hi, I’m the guy Florida Georgia Line…I am right in front of you…no need to zoom in.

On to a little concert review:
Florida Georgia Line – They were such a good time….they did 20 minutes of non-stop fun…the place went nuts during “Get Your Shine On” & I thought the roof was going to blow off the Wells Fargo Arena during “Cruise”. A great set.
Ed Sheeran – Incredible…unforgettable. One of the best performances I have ever seen. Beatboxin’, rappin’…a cover of “No Diggity”!!!!!!….and all by himself up there. That takes guts, and he killed it.
Taylor Swift – In the best use of the word…this was a spectacle to behold. There was always something going on…fireworks, moving stage pieces, amazing costumes/outfits, and Taylor just belted it out. She definitely knows how to own the crowd…and it resulted in one of the loudest shows I have ever been to. Her performance of “Red” was the highlight, as was “Remember It All Too Well” (which I had never heard, but really, really enjoyed it).

(Props to our photo rockstar Apiram on great photos)
My wife and I had a blast all the way through…and as I watched all these dads with 4-6 year old girls on their shoulders just singing non-stop, I realized that I’m much closer than I know to taking little Priscilla to concerts like this (please, let it be concerts like Taylor Swift, and not Justin Bieber!)
Why I’m the Family Photographer
Jennifer snapped a selfie of us last night during the show…here’s how it came out…really good there sweetheart. I’m glad this is her new FB profile photo.

It’s like I’m photo-bombing it or something, ha ha! This is why I’m the one in charge of taking photos in our family!
Weird Al
Weird Al is Sunday night at the Hoyt Sherman Place…and it’s going to be incredible as well. I’ve been wanting to meet him for over 25 years, and the dream becomes a reality Sunday night. He is only behind Pearl Jam in my favorites of all-time…he’s the artist I’ve listened to longer than any other artist…and he puts on just an incredible show, you’ll be blown away!
