This Duck Is Confusing the Heck Out of Me
So, Mama Duck has sort of been MIA the past 24 hours. She wa there on Sunday, but nowhere to be found yesterday. I found this…
It appears 2-3 of the eggs have hatched…but there’s no sign of the ducklings. I don’t see anything that looks like an attack (those feather remnants are from Mama Duck, we’ve seen that before)…but I don’t know where they would have gone. We have a fenced in yard, so the ducklings wouldn’t really be able to get out…hmm…and what about the other eggs? Is she coming back for those? What is going on?
This is my life…duck obsessed. I just hope Mama Duck & her ducklings are safe.
The Countdown Is On
Pearl Jam announced a countdown…which ends on Monday….we’re all expecting new music, but for some reason, I think this will be a bigger announcement than just that…perhaps tour dates? Maybe even better…they’ll announce this:
“Hey Kurt, you are invited to the Pearl Jam Wrigley Field show…We can’t wait to see you there”.

Movies Over the Holiday Weekend
This weekend, it’s Despicable Me 2 v. Lone Ranger.
My choice? Despicable Me 2…and it’s not even close. The Lone Ranger just looks like “The Mask of Zorro”…this time starring Johnny Depp. Am I the only one getting a little tired of Johnny Depp playing some off-kilter character? It just seems that it’s the same character in every movie. (I feel the same way about Jack Nicholson…I feel like every movie is just Jack Nicholson talking).

“We Can’t Stop” by Miley Cyrus. I’ll admit, deep down, I think I like Miley Cyrus songs. I’m not proud of that, but I think that’s the case. However, “We Can’t Stop” just doesn’t do anything for me. There’s no chorus, and I don’t believe any of her “partying” claims.
